    Best Pickleball Shoes

Pickleball requires a lot of quick, agile movements, so it’s important to look for shoes that have good traction due to treads or a rubber outsole. Another key element is stability, so look for shoes with midsole support, such as those with layers of EVA foam. The weight and amount of cushioning can come down to personal preference; light and heavily cushioned shoes can be comfortable and quick-moving, but they also may provide less support.

Here are two shoes we love for pickleball:

    • New Balance FuelCell 996v5 Pickleball: Crafted with pickleball movement in mind, this fantastic tennis shoe has added stability features focused on lateral movements as well as durable rubber outsoles to provide traction and longevity. Available in men’s and women’s sizes in store and online.
    • On CLOUD X 3: Ultralight, highly reactive, with better fit and breathability. It’s born from running, but made for everything. This On style has an improved fit, star lacing, 3-layer mesh, CloudTec® and Speedboard® all combined to support you. Available in men’s and women’s sizes in store and online.

Alternatively, you can turn any shoe into a pickleball shoe with Curex Pickleball Pro Insoles. As the official shoe insole of Major League Pickleball, these insoles are crafted specifically for gameplay, from added lateral support to arch and heel stability to responsive forefoot cushioning.
